Search Feature
Overview
I was asked to design an advanced search bar that aims to enhance the Jewlr's search functionality. The objective was to foster improved user engagement and enable users to effortlessly find what they are looking for on the website. Rather than requiring users to type out the name of a popular item, Safyre Lab wanted to implement a feature that suggests the item to them, allowing them to reach their desired destination with just a simple click or tap.

The Design
The Popular Searches section is strategically designed to attract customers by including main keywords that are highly looked up. The goal was to streamline the search process and guide users towards relevant products or categories. Not only users save time but it also increases their engagement with the website. By adding Product Suggestions with their enticing visuals, it inspires users and makes their shopping experience easier. As a result, users can easily find what they are looking for, discover popular items, and get inspired by visually appealing product suggestions.
For mobile version, I had to make some adjustments to improve user experience for mobile users. Under popular searches, I implemented a mobile-friendly approach by adding two columns of the main keywords for quick search. For Product Suggestions, I designed a list of best-sellers accompanied by smaller thumbnails, providing a visually appealing glimpse of the products without the need for excessive scrolling. This optimized design aims to improve user experience by making product discovery effortless and efficient on mobile devices.
